at request of wdc - i did "attach wdc" on my VMware
athena10 (on mac). The attach took a while - I will
guess about 30-45 seconds, maybe more. ls /mit/wdc/Public
shows lots of files.
VMware Fusion 2.0b2
i installed ubuntu followed by all updates and then ran
the a10 install script and then updates again.
