I suspect the problem may be with your resources and configuration.
Unfortunately, you are not in and your top level directory is not
accessable by me.
Would you please send to me (not to testers), a copy of your
.Xresources, and your .mwmrc (if you have one).

Wrong, Ezra, the problem is that YOUR configuration prevents you from
seeing the problem. You probably have XFILESEARCHPATH set, and/or
have x11r4 attached all the time.
Xcalc is experiencing the same problem as xbiff -- it's trying to use
a bitmap that isn't available unless x11r4 is attached.
