If one is a noodlehead and attempts to start jwgc with root tickets
instead of null tickets, jwgc fails to detach and also becomes very hard
to kill. (ctrl-c and ctrl-z do not work; punt and pkill do not work;
kill -9 pid does work).
(on geskekelud, 9.4.25 linux machine)
