Well, the bad news here is that when I got to w20 I found all of the
early linux machines either not having updated because they were down
or had someone logged in, or hung in the boot process with the verify
bug I just patched.  I've gotten all of the machines that had updated
to .12 up by hand applying the patch and rebooting, but that only
works for one boot, becasue verify "fixes" itself.  So Greg should
probably call me a bonehead and get the patch I just committed
deployed.  ...or possibly wait for the additional patch I'm about to
submit for review.
