mrow.mit.edu was recently updated to Solaris Athena 9.4, and I am now
unable to mount NFS shares. /etc/init.d/nfs.client no longer exists.
mrow.mit.edu# mount scyther.mit.edu:/misc /misc
nfs mount: mount: /misc: Not owner
mrow.mit.edu# ls -ld /misc
drwxr-xr-x 2 root mit 512 Apr 1 04:29 /misc
mrow.mit.edu# whoami
root
mrow.mit.edu# mount -F nfs scyther.mit.edu:/misc /misc
nfs mount: mount: /misc: Not owner
I tried copying /etc/init.d/nfs.client from one of the
athena.dialup.mit.edu's, and got:
mrow.mit.edu# /mit/kchen/nfs.client start
nfs mount: mount: /misc: Not owner
