On the one hand, I applaud a step in the direction of, "Let's offer only
a few vitally useful features instead of the 'kitchen sink' syndrome
that seems to have taken hold everywhere.

On the other hand, if I'm going to saddle myself with that kitchen sink
that is GNOME, I'd really RATHER that I NOT lose functionality when the
default window manager changes.
