After updating my Linux box to 9.4, the X server bell doesn't work.
(Actually, I'm not quite using the standard X server -- I needed to
replace the MGA driver code with that from the Matrox web site,
because I'm using the DVI output to drive an Apple display.)
I've checked the xset settings; they look fine. I don't see anything
in xorg.conf jumping out at me as a likely culprit, either....
