When I try to invoke enscript with the following variables
set in my environment (not that I think it relates to the LPR
options, but since something strange is going on I'm including
them for completeness) it attempts to invoke lp and fails:

setenv LPROPT -hz
setenv ENSCRIPT -2rhG

prowler:~ % enscript -Pinfoworld FTTH/writing/thesis/lee-abstract.txt
/usr/athena/bin/lp: illegal option -- h
lp [-P pagerange] [-T content-type] [-c] [-d dest] [-m] [-n number]
    [-o option] [-t title] [-w] [file ...]
[ 1 pages * 1 copy ] sent to infoworld

and despite the fact that it says it sent it to the printer, it
doesn't actually print.

This all works under 9.3.
