I don't really expect to get more than general laughter in response to
this report, but it's a problem I noticed, so I figured I'd mention
it. And if anyone does have advice or help to offer, I'd certainly
appreciate it.

I have a really old java program that I've been running with java
1.1.6 for years, because running on anything newer seems to cause an
exception. Unfortunately, trying to run it with java 1.1.6 on a 9.4
linux machine results in a coredump.
