pango-querymodules error on Solaris

On Solaris, during a 9.3 -> 9.4 update, I noticed the following errors
from the install of the MIT-pango package:
Cannot load module /usr/athena/lib/pango/1.4.0/modules/pango-arabic-fc.so: ld.so.1: /usr/athena/bin/pango-querymodules: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/athena/lib/pango/1.4.0/modules/pango-arabic-fc.so: symbol pango_ot_info_find_feature: referenced symbol not found
/usr/athena/lib/pango/1.4.0/modules/pango-arabic-fc.so does not export Pango module API
Cannot load module /usr/athena/lib/pango/1.4.0/modules/pango-hebrew-fc.so: ld.so.1: /usr/athena/bin/pango-querymodules: fatal: relocation error: file /usr/athena/lib/pango/1.4.0/modules/pango-hebrew-fc.so: symbol pango_ot_info_find_feature: referenced symbol not found
/usr/athena/lib/pango/1.4.0/modules/pango-hebrew-fc.so does not export Pango module API

/usr/athena/lib/pango/1.4.0/modules/pango-thai-fc.so does not export Pango module API
These apparently come from the postinstall script's invoking of
pango-querymodules; the same errors occur when I run pango-querymodules
manually on a 9.4 Sun.
