What were you trying to do?
Turn on & off the scrollbar in an xterm window, under the twm
window manager.
What's wrong:
xterm's pop-up menu leaves behind some blanked areas where text should be
refreshed.
lycus:/site/jtkohl/xterm-menu-missing-pieces is a screendump exhibiting
the problem.
The vertical striping at the top came from turning on the scrollbar; the
stuff at the bottom comes from turning off the scrollbar.
What should have happened:
xterm should have properly repainted the window.
