What were you trying to do?
Keep the console window iconified under twm
What's wrong:
When I iconify the console, it turns to an icon, but then the
console unmaps itself and it disappears until it is revived by output of
some sort, at which point it appears as an icon.
What should have happened:
It should have stayed an icon, and de-iconified itself upon output.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
twm(1), xlogin(1) [Bug #2: xlogin(1) is the xdm(1) man page,
which says absolutely nothing about our broken version of xlogin.]
