One - you should not be sending bug reports to "testers"
The testers mailing list is only valid when we are working on a new
release.
I suspect your problem is that your home directory was attached when
you logged in. XLogin recognized that your home directory was
present so did not try to attach, but then when it tried to access a
file to login it failed.
Did you get any messages in the console window?
Was your machine deactivated when you showed up or did it still
have the xlogin window up?
Did you or someone remotely login on your machine and attach your
home directory and leave it attached?
