As jhawk discovered and reported to me through side channels, what has
changed is that the /usr/openwin xterm app-defaults are no longer hacked
up.  A user with standard dotfiles will not see a different during a
regular login, but one could notice a different in a root login, or
during a terminal login (because the standard cshrc is only run in the
shell within the xterm, so the xterm itself doesn't see the
XUSERFILESEARCHPATH variable).

Bob, can you add a hack to MIT-ws to take care of this?
