I am guessing that this is not merely a change to the data file in
third/gnome-mime-data, but a change to the Evolution code itself
(otherwise, the fix would not appear in Evolution 1.4.6 but in some rev
of gnome-mime-data).  We can backport changes from future revs of a
program, but generally prefer not to do so (in the name of minimizing
local changes) unless the problem is widespread or severe.
