I just updated geskekelud to 9.3.3.
It's been running directmail, and two things are immediately
noticable:
1:
athena% mailq
Recipient names must be specified
(and then it hangs until interrupted with ctrl-c)
--------------------
2:
On the console:
11:05 May 5 11:05:21 geskekelud.mit.edu sendmail[1709]: KERBEROS_V4 unavailable due to lack of IPv4 information
(and lots more like it).
Lines from /var/spool/mquee/syslog regarding sendmail[1709]:
May 5 11:05:22 geskekelud.mit.edu sendmail[1709]: [ID 801593 mail.info] i45F5LQL001709: from=<boojum@MIT.EDU>, size=1186, class=0, nrcpts=1, msgid=<200405051453.i45Erx1I001289@geskekelud.mit.edu>, proto=ESMTP, daemon=Daemon0, relay=PACIFIC-CARRIER-ANNEX.MIT.EDU [18.7.21.83]
May 5 11:05:22 geskekelud.mit.edu sendmail[1709]: [ID 801593 mail.info] i45F5LQL001709: to="|/usr/athena/bin/dsmail -d -s 30 /usr/spool/discuss/laura-mail"@geskekelud, ctladdr=<laura-mail-mtg@geskekelud.mit.edu> (1/0), delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=prog, pri=30871, dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent
I split my PObox to deliver mail to a discuss meeting on geskekelud,
laura-mail-mtg@geskekelud.mit.edu; it appears to be generating one
console message per incoming message to me which is (successfully)
logged to discuss.
