The problem here is that you're still running the 9.2 telnetd, because
the MIT-krb5 package is broken in 9.3.0 and doesn't contain new versions
of any of the login daemons. We understand why, and it should be fixed
in 9.3.1. In the meantime, I assume using ssh is a perfectly acceptable
workaround.
