The following scenario seemed to always occur:
Conditions:
- If a machine were assigned a dynamic name (and it has no name in the
.MIT.EDU domain)
Problem:
- If you try "telnet" to a host that accepts telnet connections, it will
connect but never gives you the banner message or "login:" prompt.
(I don't think this one is netconfig's fault, though).
