Outgoing mail both IS and IS NOT going into Sent folder...

I think I have yet another case of, "funky settings get set switching
between 1.2 and 1.4 evolution." (All under Linux)

Sequence of steps:

Run evolution under Athena 9.1.
Notice how the default puts outgoing mail in a Local Folder "Sent".
Create an IMAP Folder "Sent", and re-configure Evolution to send
outgoing mail to it.
Run Evolution under Athena 9.2.
Notice that outgoing mail quits going to the IMAP "Sent" folder.
(I forgot to check to see if it goes to the Local Folder.)
Notice there's an option to BCC' one's self (which I VASTLY prefer).
Set that option.
Run Evolution under Athena 9.1
Notice that outgoing mail is not self-BCC'd (appropriate since that
option does not exist).
Run Evolution under Athena 9.2
Notice that the configuration for outgoing mail is NOT set to go
anywhere, but outgoing mail DOES go to the "Sent" local folder.
(The configuration is an option under Tools->Settings...->Mail
Accounts->[Account name]MIT mail)
Double click on any message in either the IMAP "Sent" folder or the
local "Sent" folder.
Notice how you're not allowed to edit the message as a new outgoing
mesage because neither of these are actually designated as "Sent"
folders. (A silly and arbitrary usability glitch. Andrew Messages, in
my opinion gets this right, letting you restore ANY message to an
outgoing draft.)

The reason why I say that outgoing mail both IS and IS NOT going
into the sent folder is that:

The contents of the message is dutifully being dumped there
even though it should not be.
Once there, I cannot operate on it as if it were in a designated
"Sent" folder.

Before I further tickle the configs to try and make it stop creating
superfluous "Sent" copies, I figured I'd report this in the event that
someone has tests to suggest, or a desire/ability to read the entrails
of my Evolution config files.
