A large selection of fonts (for example "fixed" and "miscfixed")
that used to be available in gnome-terminal under 9.1 solaris are no
longer available under 9.2 solaris. These fonts are still available
under 9.2 linux.

The end result is that users that did font configuration and happened
to pick fonts that have "disappeared" from the font selection list
in 9.2 solaris are going to suddenly have platform-dependant appearances.
(If gnome-terminal does not recognize the font you selected it defaults
to something -- perhaps sans(?) 10-12 point, depending on whether or not
the "same as other fonts" box is checked).

Personally I ended up with a font that was rather difficult to read
with white text on a black background.

(I understand that this may not be fixable, I just expect that users
will notice and might ask what's going on, so people need to be aware)>
