gimp fails on SIPB's zsr (i386_rh9) machine, spitting a
bunch of errors in the form:
"/mit/gimp-1.2/arch/@sys/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/waves"
executable not found
"/mit/gimp-1.2/arch/@sys/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/whirlpinch"
executable not found
"/mit/gimp-1.2/arch/@sys/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/wind"
executable not found
"/mit/gimp-1.2/arch/@sys/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/wmf"
executable not found
... and then not being able to open any file type.
