I installed a few extra packages to explore adding neat-control
to the release (so users can up/down their own network interfaces
for disconnected operations).
In the course of my testing, I found that /usr/athena/lib/libORBit.*
is pulling in modules from /usr/athena/lib/orbit-2.0 but not
/usr/lib/orbit-2.0. This means that an application that pulls in
Athena's liborbit cannot find RH's e.g. bonobo plugin.
How I reproduce the problem:
Install the following packages from RH9:
gnome-python2
gnome-python2-bonobo
pyorbit
To exhibit the problem:
athena% python
...
>>> import bonobo.ui
[ error message here ]
