So as of 9.1, I used a jpeg background image, that I set with the
GNOME control panel (as opposed to xsetbg or xv -root).

As of 9.2, when I log in, my background is light blue. If I bring up
the GNOME control panel, desktop preferences, background, there's my
jpeg background selected - I have to choose another setting and then set it
back in order to get the background to actually display.

I have to do this each time I log in, even if I log out using the
"exit" button from the panel.
