Alex: gnumeric will need to be rebuilt for Athena 9.2. gal has always
considered itself a "moving target" library, so it's not surprising that
its major version was bumped with no regard for application
compatibility. You'll probably want to wait for the upcoming 9.2.5
patch release, which will change the Linux sysname from i386_linux24 to
i386_rh9.
Dawn: Hopefully this will be fixed within the next couple of weeks. In
the meantime, if working around this problem is important, you can grab
a copy of libgal.so.19.0.2 from a 9.1 machine, drop it somewhere in your
library path, and make a libgal.so.19 symlink to it in the same
directory. Geoff should be able to help out with the details.
