ssh logins hang sometimes

I often use ssh (specifically SecureCRT 3.x) with X11 forwarding to login to
Athena Suns. Sometimes, the login will hang indefinitely. A Control-C will
get me a prompt, and superfically everything appears to be in order. I
believe that zwgc is the culprit. This doesn't happen on every login, but it
did happen to me twice this morning, at the same time on two different Suns.
Both are running Athena 9, but this was also a problem under 8.4.
