What were you trying to do?
Login when my homedir isn't attached.
What's wrong:
I get csh dotfiles in my tmphomedir, but no bash ones.
What should have happened:
I should be given an add alias, inc aliased to inc -notruncate,
etc.
The situation for root is even weirder:
bash-2.03$ su
Password:
bash-2.04#
bash-2.04# bash --version
GNU bash, version 2.03.0(1)-release (i686-pc-linux-gnu)

I can't find a copy of version 2.04 anywhere around.
