This issue was discussed at release-team today. Since 8.3 was the
last release we supported on the Sparc Classic, and we've never
officially supported the ss20, we're not going to be changing the
version of AFS in 9.0 at this time. Running 9.0 on these Suns will be
considered unsupported.
