Unless otherwise noted, tested with a clean (from /usr/prototype_user)
set of dotfiles in the gu account.

--- GENERAL ---

 - gnomecc -> Screensaver -> Graphics demo tab
The following xscreensaver programs make parts of the user's
desktop visible to passersby after they screensave and walk away
from their machines. As a user, I would expect my screensaver not
to do this. I might be unhappy if I had left something on my
screen that I didn't want people to peer at while I was gone, only
to find it displayed on the screen when I returned.

   spotlight
   bumps
   xteevee
   zoom

 - gnomecc -> Screensaver -> Graphics demo tab

Documentation button doesn't seem to work for beland but it's
actually just ignoring some config settings; I have gnome-terminal
configured with a black background, and it displays black text on
the black background, even though I normally have a white
foreground (text) in gnome-terminals. (tested on dig-dug and PYL)

--- space-invaders IRIX 9.0.6 ---

xscreensaver-capplet won't start up; gives error:

xalf: error: couldn't find xscreensaver-demo in PATH
GLib-CRITICAL **: file gmain.c: line 500: assertion `tag > 0' failed.
Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkcursor.c: line 86: assertion `cursor != NULL' failed.

---dig-dug Linux 9.0.6 ---

 - gnomecc -> Screensaver -> Screensaver options tab

I can't actually seem to make any changes to these settings.
There's no way to press "OK" or "Try" since these buttons are
inactive even if one does make changes. Even though the capplet
remembers the changes, it doesn't act on them. For example, I set
the idle time to 10 sec, waited for half a minute or so, and no
   screensaver kicked in.

Correction: The settings took effect on the next login. (Even
though it was a dash login).

 - gnomecc -> Screensaver -> Graphics demo tab
Hitting down-arrow and then Enter (to select a different demo)
should probably has the same visual effect as clicking on the next
demo with the mouse, but the next demo isn't actually selected (as
evident by the failure of the explanatory text on the right to
   change).

 - gnomecc -> Screensaver -> Graphics demo tab
The "command line" window here is a bit misleading since the
commands don't actually work. This may be another path problem,
since the binaries have been moved to
   /usr/athena/libexec/xscreensaver/, which isn't in the user's path.
