Hi. As a user, what you did is fine, but as someone who works for us,
you should be submitting patches in a somewhat different form.
First, submit patches against files in the source tree, not against
files on the packs. You can use /mit/source/FILES to locate files
(it's regenerated when the source tree is cvs updated). The xlogin
resource file is actually different on the three Athena platforms, so
you'll have to make your changes three times. Console might be the
same.
Second, submit the patch to source-reviewers, instead of testers.
There's some additional protocol in /mit/source/doc/procedures, which
you should read.
