Logging in today, panel died and restarted.
It left me a core dump file which I have placed in:
/mit/bitbucket/wdc-coredump/applet-core
Share and enjoy.

P.S. I notice that with 9.0.6 I didn't get a lot of nasty popup warnings
about the restart. So that code seems to be working.
