I tried updating my Ultra-1 to 9.0. It created the miniroot on the
swap device, rebooted, and started repeatedly panicing because it
couldn't boot from the miniroot.

The problem appears to be lack of 32-bit device drivers in the
miniroot. Ultra-1's apparently have a bug which allows malicious
64-bit code to stall the CPU, and don't come up in 64-bit mode
unless explicitly told so in /platform/sun4u/boot.conf.

I solved the problem by enabling 64-bit mode for Ultra-1's in my
boot.conf file. I'm not sure whether including 32-bit modules or
enabling 64-bit Ultra-1 operating is really the right solution.
