I should have alerted the public after I looked at ajfox's machine. You
diagnosed correctly what was happening, but I do not know yet why some machines
had the main disk (ide disk) as device 134 instead of 136. Most machines (like
the two I have on my desk) have the correct device number for the ide disk. Do
you recall in any way the history of the machine in trouble (when was installed ?
when was updated ? is it a "private station" ? ....).
