whirlwind (my 8-bit Ultra5) was pinging last night, but not answering
athinfo queries or responding to ssh; this morning, it greeted me with a
nice white display. After a stop-a boot, it said it was unable to
repair /var, and told me to run fsck manually, so I did (kept notes on
the couple of things it repaired if that's of interest). It then booted
up fine, but here's the entirety of /var/athena/update.log:
Starting update at Wed Mar 21 17:34:51 EST 2001.
Shutting down running services
The update seemed to finish happily on a couple of other Ultras I
checked, allegretto and arizona; I'm off to meetings now...
