I've looked into this problem a bit. It probably only happens on
Solaris, where there is no acceptable native X server extension to use
(XIDLE or SGI-SCREEN-SAVER), so xscreensaver has to look at events on
all windows. I'm not exactly sure why xscreensaver is getting client
messages specifically, but I do know how to suppress the error
message, so this problem should be fixed in the next patch release.
