well, when GArry updated xcb the test alias he put in
/etc/mail/aliases didn't disappear, and neither did the file. Unless
someone else sees this problem it may be reasonable to chalk it up to
a weirdness on my machine, since I may have been doing somethign weird
with the aliases file before I pdated the machine.
