inst died with a bus error while I was testing a 6.2 -> 6.5 update
on an R5000 Indy. In the past, I think I've seen inst die on a bus
error when an mmap() fails due to lack of swap, but that does not
appear to be the case here -- at least, there was no such indication
in SYSLOG.
I will investigate further.
