regapplet doesn't work on some sgi_65 machines

Jeff and I are aware of this, but just so it's in writing somewhere,
the account registration applet doesn't work well under Irix 6.5. On
some machines, if you run it you get in your console:

(and then if you ran it from xlogin, it returns you to xlogin after
having flashed that message too quickly to read)
On other machines, it runs, but it doesn't size things properly, so
text and buttons go off the edges of the window.
Neither problem occurs running it inside a web browser.
