This time I tried on a sun. The same broken behavior where I lose the
first of the three messages is exibited.
In addition, if I run more with a list of messages, I get headers with
':' around the file name (I like this). With show, I don't get this (I
did under 8.2).
In addition, I tried setting my showproc to cat or less. Whether I
specify this in ~/.mh_profile or on the command line, this seems to be
ignored, and I get more. Is there a list of things I'm allowed to make
my showproc?
(so while more under irix doesn't do the same thing as it used to (I
think this sucks), nmh is also doing something screwy with these
messages)
I also notice a bunch of files sitting in ~/Mail/ (and my truss of show
showed that they were being accessed)

I moved them aside, but it didn't seem to help the problem (although
they didn't get recreated, and they were dated rather early in my
testing). They did appear to be chunks of the problem messages,
though.
