This is not an issue unique to 8.3 btw, I've dealt with it in 8.2
also. The kludge I came up with was to make my own copy which
specified where I actually wanted things put and then put that in my
PERLLIB path before the default copy. I think I got a lot of warnings
from this, but nothing of consequence.
Re: new packs ... has the dsgrep issue been fixed yet? I didn't
notice it mentioned in this email under either listing.
