To: testers@MIT.EDU Date: Wed, 14 Apr 1999 13:08:59 EDT From: Robert A Basch <rbasch@MIT.EDU> While trying to shut down the window system on IRIX, I managed to put nanny into a loop, repeatedly waiting on an X console child that was apparently no longer valid. From a glance at the source, it looks like there could be a race condition in the code that kills console; I will investigate further.
