lprng problems

When trying to use the new lprng-based print clients, I am getting
errors like:
athena{31}% lpq -Pdostest
Host 'localhost' - cannot open connection to `dostest@localhost' -
Cannot assign requested address
lpr gives similar errors. It happens with both lprng and lpd based
servers. Can anyone replicate these problems?
