What were you trying to do?
[cfox@myxomycete]/tmp> scp cfox-test-file cfox@smoke-screen:/tmp/cfox-test-file
cfox@smoke-screen's password:
sourcing .environment...
[cfox@myxomycete]/tmp> Write failed flushing stdout buffer.
write stdout: Broken pipe
(myxomycete is running linux, with ssh 1.2.25 installed, and the scp which came
with that)
What's wrong:
It starts sourcing my dotfiles and stuff, rather than just giving me a connection
and copying the file. I can copy the file to another host (a linux box without a
hacked sshd) just fine, I can login to smoke-screen via ssh, and I can scp stuff from
smoke-screen just fine.
Is the sshd on 8.2 machines setup to allow execution of commands remotely, or only
logins?
