Ah, I found the offending code. It's in the X server. It looks like
if we turn on xauth support, we can convince the X server to stop
allowing connections on the inet ports. This presumably explains why
the TkSend error messages say that you have to enable xauth. I'll
hopefully see about getting xlogin to enable xauth for an 8.2 patch
release.
