What were you trying to do?
get MX records for a domain using the -Z option
What's wrong:
with -Z, which (at least with the version in the
consult locker) is supposed to display the information
in a format similiar to the zone files, host just appears
to hang, even if the cache is primed by a prior host -t
mx call. I also note that the man page is in horrible
shape.
Of course, I wouldn't be suprised if these were
a problem with the BIND distribution :)
What should have happened:
the MX records should have been displayed in the
format I was expecting.
