I was using netscape 4 to look at a draft of a document and when I
clicked on a link I got a nice little error message mentioning a
panic and while I was looking for a pen and paper to write the message
down, my machine rebooted.
The machine in question is a Sparc Ultra 1 (indiana), so you may not
even care. Everything seems ok now, but that probably shouldn't have
happened. There wasn't anything very interesting about that link and
I'd clicked on it a few times before and since without problem.
I have no idea if it's an 8.2 problem or a netscape 4 problem, but
this is probably the right place to whine about it.
Also, while I'm sending mail, when I'm writing a zephyr message using
simple old zwrite, the backspace key doesn't do what it used to. Now
I just get a bunch of ^H characters instead of erasing text. Is this
expected behavior now? It's annoying, and it only seems to happen on
the Sun's.
