I had just returned from being screen saved. I have a 48 color
back ground and a matlab that had a very large file loaded as an
array. I had it plot some of the points in the array and was going to
use xv to grab the matlab window. xv started to draw it's window when
everything but the half drawn xv window and hte matlab window
disappered. X died and restarted (with an xdm failed to become ready
error before it restarted.) I tried a little to reproduce the error,
but failed. This is mostly just a report of the incident.
