We treat the root crontab file as a configfile, which means we rename
it to root.old when things change. On some machines cron will
complain about finding a crontab file for the user "root.old". I
don't think I'm going to fix this during the 8.2 release because it's
not a simple fix, but we should fix this at some point because it
causes a spurious error message at boot time.
