I'll check on this, but I thought that getty simply exec'ed login,
without forking, and so isn't around to clean up upon logout.  Or,
is nanny supposed to start another getty on tport then?  It doesn't
seem to be...

Also, I noticed that in the function update_dpy() in nanny, called
when the dpy state goes to NONE, the 8.1 version calls clear_consUtmp(),
while the new version does not.  [clear_consUtmp() does not exist in the
new version.]
