Trying to run the Sun ar (/usr/ccs/bin/ar) results in the following
error:
ld.so.1: ar: fatal: libelf.so.1: version `SUNW_1.2' not found (required by file ar)
'ldd `which ar`' reports that ar is apparently linked against libelf
twice:
libelf.so.1 => /usr/lib/libelf.so.1
libelf.so.1 (SUNW_1.2) => (version not found)
libc.so.1 => /usr/lib/libc.so.1
libdl.so.1 => /usr/lib/libdl.so.1
