From the xlogin screen, "Register for an Athena Account" and all of the
Other Options (except "Display Console Window" and "Shutdown Window
System") fail with an error message which is roughly:
Unable set up for daemon app
Xlogin X error: couldn't find per display info.
(it's a bit hard to get exactly, as it pops up and disappears pretty
quickly).
